None of it’s rocket science either. Simply by making a few everyday changes around your home, like turning off your TV or games console instead of leaving it on standby, unplugging your mobile phone charger when you’re not using it and switching to energy saving lightbulbs, you can make a difference. Drying your washing outside rather than using a tumble-drier, insulating your home properly or replacing an out of date boiler with a high-efficiency condensing boiler could have an even greater impact on your energy consumption.

If you want to see how energy efficient or inefficient your home is just now and then receive a free, impartial report on how you could save £300* a year on your household energy bills, why not take our Energy Efficiency Survey?
