Bank/Giro/PayPoint
Paying your bill by this method is easy. Just fill in the Bank Giro Credit slip attached to your bill and take it, along with your payment in cash or by cheque, to the bank*.
* Only banks that are part of the UK Clearing System are able to accept Bank Giro Credits and some banks may charge you for this service. Remember to allow 5 working days for your payment to reach us.
Paying by cheque?
You should make cheques payable to “ScottishPower”. Please write your name, address and 11 digit account number (you’ll find this on your bill) on the back of the cheque. Cheques will only be accepted with a valid cheque guarantee card and mustn’t exceed the guarantee limit.
Paying using a Girobank account?
Please send your payment to Girobank plc, Bootle, Merseyside, GIR OAA. This service is free when you send your payment from the Post Office, but some banks may make a charge for it.
Paying at a PayPoint?
Please remember that PayPoint outlets only accept cash.
