No Standing Charge

Standing Charge or No Standing Charge – it’s your choice

Our No Standing Charge* (NSC) option lets you take your energy supply on the following basis:

• No daily service charge applied to fuel charges
• Fuel is charged solely on the basis of unit rates

Here’s how it works:

Electricity Standard single rate meters

No daily service charge is applied to your energy charges. Instead, you’ll pay a higher rate for the first 225kWh used each quarter, then a lower rate for any other energy you use in that quarter.

Electricity Multiple rate meters e.g. White Meter, Economy 7 etc

No daily service charge is applied to your energy charges. Instead, you’ll pay a higher rate for the first 225kWh used during the day each quarter, then lower rates for the rest of the energy you use during the day in the same quarter. A separate unit rate will apply to the units you use at night.
