Change of tenancy for commercial properties
Please see our guidelines if you are vacating or moving into a new site
Once we have received your call, or completed form, the details will be logged onto our system. We will use the information you provide to verify the change of responsibility; please ensure you provide either the new tenant’s or landlord’s details, including a contact telephone number, as we need to contact them prior to finalising your account.
Once the details have been verified we will finalise your account and issue a final invoice which will confirm our actions. Please do not cancel any direct debit you have on your account as the final invoice amount will be debited approximately 14 days after the invoice is produced. We may ask for supporting documentation to be sent in to corroborate your notice of change. We will contact you if this is required.
As soon as we have received your call, or completed form, the details will be logged onto the system. We will use the information you provide to action the change of responsibility. In certain circumstances we may request a copy of your lease agreement or supporting documentation to confirm the exact date you became responsible. Once the details have been confirmed the change of tenancy will be actioned. At this point your details are fed through to our Sales team. The Sales team will contact you either via telephone or email with the prices which are available to you.
A risk assessment is completed, via Experian, on all of our incoming parties and we may require a monetary security deposit before any pricing is offered to you. If you choose to accept one of our quotes you may be asked to return a signed contract via email and via post. As soon as the electronic copy has been received, the prices can then be applied. Your company details and agreed prices are then passed to our Billing team, where your new account is created. An initial invoice will be produced which will detail your new account number, company name and supply address, and the prices which have been agreed as well as other important information relating to your supply.
