2. My tariff’s coming to an end - what happens next?

If you’re on one of our Fixed Term tariffs, we'll be in touch by email or letter around 6 weeks before your tariff ends to let you know what happens next and help you choose our best tariff for you.

If you have an online account, we'll also post a message on your account, to let you know what happens next.

If you don’t choose a new tariff you’ll automatically move to our Standard tariff after your current tariff comes to an end. 5. Why has my energy consumption changed?

There could be a number of reasons for this. Seasonal changes normally mean that you’ll use more energy in the winter and less in the summer. Lifestyle factors such as new equipment or appliances in your home or a change in circumstance or in the number of people living in your home can also make a difference.

Some simple energy efficiency measures could help you reduce your energy use. Find out about Energy Efficiency.

You can easily track your energy consumption if you have an online account. Log in to MyAccount and simply select My Energy Usage to view your consumption graph or download our free ScottishPower Energy App and view your consumption.
