As a small business customer with ScottishPower, you will have a contract for the supply of your business energy. If you are unsure what contract you are on, this can be found in Your Account under Contract Information or on the front page of any invoice. Here you will also find your contract end date where applicable.

What happens at the end of my Fixed Term Contract?

You will receive a renewal letter 60 days prior to your contract end date which will detail the options available to you.

We can, in some circumstances, offer you a quote up to 180 days prior to your contract end date. If you have not yet received your renewal letter, are in the last 6 months of your contract end date and would like a quote please call our SME Renewals Team on 0800 001 5222 (Monday to Friday 8am - 7pm, Saturday 8:30am - 1pm). If I want to terminate my contract, what do I need to do?

You can email your termination request to SMEContractTermination@ScottishPower.com or send us this via Your Account

Please note:

For Customers on a Fixed Price Contract - you can notify us at any point during your contract and your contract will end the day after your current contract end date.

For Customers on a Standard Fixed tariff - you must provide us with a minimum of 30 days’ notice of termination as specified in your Terms and Conditions. Before you terminate your contract, call our Business Energy Team on 0800 040 7002 (Monday to Friday 8am - 7pm, Saturday 8:30am - 1pm) to see if we can offer you alternative options. What should I do if I move premises or my business closes down?

You will need to tell us when you are moving and who will be responsible for the premises when you leave - this may be the Landlord of the premises or a new owner or tenant.

We will also need your final meter readings and your forwarding address for us to send your final invoice to.
