ScottishPower’s achievements at the Stevie Awards

We’re pleased to announce that in this year’s Stevie Awards that effort has been recognised. The Stevie Awards are renowned as the world’s premier business awards, recognising outstanding achievements and positive contributions by organisations and individuals throughout the world. Established in 2002, the Stevie Awards have grown to cover seven distinct categories, each celebrating excellence in various areas such as business, technology, customer service, and more.

What are the Stevie Awards?

The Stevie Awards derive their name from the Greek word "Stephanos," meaning "crowned." They are designed to give credit and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organisations and individuals worldwide.

The awards range from Company of the Year to Executive of the Year, and from Best New Product to Best Customer Service Team. The awards are judged by a panel of more than 200 professionals worldwide, ensuring a high standard of excellence and integrity.

How are the awards judged?

More than 2,100 nominations from organisations of all sizes and in virtually every industry, in 45 nations and territories, were considered in this year’s competition. Winners were determined by the average scores of 176 professionals worldwide on seven specialised judging committees. Entries were considered in more than 90 categories for customer service and contact centre achievements, including Contact Centre of the Year, Award for Innovation in Customer Service, and Customer Service Department of the Year; more than 60 categories for sales and business development achievements, ranging from Senior Sales Executive of the Year to Sales Training or Business Development Executive of the Year to Sales Department of the Year; and categories to recognise new products, services, and solution providers.
