Half-Price Weekends
What are Half-Price Weekends?
Our Half-Price Weekend events2 are part of our new Power Saver service. Once you’ve registered for Power Saver, you can automatically enjoy half-price on your electricity1 unit rate every Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 4pm.
By shifting some of your electricity use to off-peak times, you’ll be helping to balance the demand on the grid and make the most of renewable energy. And of course, any electricity you use between these times will be half-price1!
How do I get half-price electricity?
To get half-price electricity, you just need to:

- Have a communicating smart meter. Don’t have a smart meter yet? Book your free installation here.
- Join Power Saver. Register for Power Saver below and you’ll automatically be included in Half-Price Weekends. We’ll be in touch by email within 7 days to let you know when everything’s ready.
If you are eligible for Power Saver, you can sign up to a half-hourly meter reading frequency as part of the registration process.

How do Half-Price Weekends work?
It couldn’t be easier to take part. Once you’ve registered for Power Saver, you’ll automatically be included in Half-Price Weekends. That means you can use as much electricity as you need on Saturdays and Sundays between 11am and 4pm.
We’ll then use your smart meter data to calculate your electricity use for each event and credit your bill to ensure you only pay half-price on your unit rate1.
