How to join My ScottishPower rewards
What is My ScottishPower?
My ScottishPower1 is our rewards club allowing you to collect points, just for being a loyal customer, which equals money off your bill.
Every point = money off your bill Points can be tracked and redeemed in the ScottishPower app for energy credit.
The longer you stay, the more you earn
Every 3 months, you’ll get 125 points added to your balance. And if you’ve been with us over 3 years, you’ll get an additional annual bonus.
No fee, no catches It’s just our way of saying thank you for being a customer.
Grow your points balance Even more chances will be added over time in the app or through emails to help you grow your points balance.
How do I take part?
To join My ScottishPower, simply sign-up using our website or through the ScottishPower App. On our website once you’ve logged in with your ScottishPower account details, you’ll need to select the account you’d like to use to join My ScottishPower. If you’re responsible for energy at more than one property supplied by ScottishPower, you’ll need to sign each account up individually. After you have read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions, and clicked ‘Join My ScottishPower’, you’ll be presented with a screen confirming that your sign-up has been successful.
The only way you can redeem points is through the ScottishPower App, so it’s important that you download the app to take part in the rewards.
To sign up to My ScottishPower through the app, log in with your ScottishPower account details then click the tile in the top right of the screen – ‘Join My ScottishPower rewards’. After you have read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions and click ‘Sign up’, you’ll be presented with a screen thanking you for joining My ScottishPower. Eligibility
Who is eligible for My ScottishPower?
To make the most of rewards offered through My ScottishPower, you’ll need to:
Be a ScottishPower domestic energy customer with a live gas and/or electricity supply; and
- Have an online account with us. If you don’t already have an online account, you can register for one here.
My ScottishPower is not currently available to Pay As You Go customers with a traditional meter. However, if you have a smart prepayment meter for your gas, electricity or both, you may be eligible for My ScottishPower.
Rewards
What rewards are available through My ScottishPower?
Once you have joined My ScottishPower, you’ll receive a quarterly reward of 125 points in January, April, July and October, and an annual bonus if you’ve been with us for over 3 years. Reward points can only be redeemed in the app. Points can be redeemed as an energy credit on your account, 100 points equal to £1 energy credit, saving you money on your energy bill. There will also be opportunities to grow your reward points and offers and rewards exclusively for My ScottishPower customers throughout the year.
How will my energy credit be paid?
If you have both gas and electricity with us, or electricity only, your energy credit will be paid to your electricity account. If you only have your gas with us, it will be paid to your gas account. Energy credit will be applied directly to your energy account and will show as ‘My ScottishPower Credit’ on your energy bill within 14 days of redeeming your points.
If you’re responsible for energy at more than one property supplied by ScottishPower, please keep in mind that you’ll need to sign each account up individually.
How to earn My ScottishPower points?
There will be multiple ways to earn points through the app. You’ll receive a quarterly reward of 125 points every 3 months from January. Additionally, if you’ve been with us for over 3 years, you’ll also receive an annual bonus on the anniversary of the date you joined My ScottishPower. And we’ll be in touch by email, or in the app, to let you know all the ways you can earn points throughout the year.
Troubleshooting
When I try to sign up for My ScottishPower, I get presented with a ‘something went wrong’ message?
If you get this message, please log out of your online account and then log in again via the My ScottishPower web page.

When I log into my online account, I get presented with more than one account number, which one do I select?
This may be because you are responsible for more than one energy account. If you’re responsible for energy supplied at more than one property, you’ll need to sign each account up individually.
There are no points to redeem in my account
Your quarterly reward of 125 points will be applied to your account on the 10th of January, April, July, and October. Your first reward is calculated based on the date you joined My ScottishPower. For example, if you join My ScottishPower between the 10th of April and 9th of July your first quarterly reward would be due the 10th of July.
If you’re eligible for an annual bonus, this will be automatically applied on the anniversary of the date you joined My ScottishPower.
If you have taken part in an opportunity to earn more points these should be applied within 14 days of the end date of the promotion, subject to the offer conditions. For example, there maybe a requirement for an additional action to be completed such as a product installation to be completed.
I can’t see a My ScottishPower energy credit
It takes up to 14 days to apply your energy credit to your bill, and then you should see this on your most recent bill or statement as ‘My ScottishPower Credit’. Or if you’re a smart Pay As You Go customer this will be applied directly to your meter.
I’ve changed my mind and no longer want to be part of My ScottishPower rewards
You can opt out of our rewards club at any time by sending us an email to myscottishpower@scottishpower.com including your name, address and account number with 'My ScottishPower opt out' in the subject line.
If you leave My ScottishPower but stay with ScottishPower for your energy, you have 28 days to use your Points. After that, they will be permanently removed.
If you rejoin My ScottishPower within 28 days, your Points will stay on your account.
If you stop being a ScottishPower energy customer, your Points will be permanently removed and cannot be restored.
