Looking to switch to ScottishPower?

If we don’t supply your new home, it’s quick and easy to switch to us. We have a range of tariffs and offers available that could help you save money on your energy bills, like half-price electricity[1] every Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 4pm.

Moving soon? Here’s how it works

If you’re moving home and we supply your energy, let us know that you’re moving out here. It’s simple, all you need to do is provide a few details: your move out date, your new address, and final meter readings. We’ll take care of the rest. You can let us know where you’ve moved here, and we'll get a new account set up for you.

We know that moving home can be stressful, so we’ve created a checklist to help your move go as smoothly as possible.

[1] Our Half-Price Weekend events are part of our Power Saver service. You must be an electricity customer with a communicating smart meter and consent to sharing half-hourly readings with us to participate in Power Saver. Exclusions apply. See Terms and Conditions. Electricity used will be charged at your normal unit rate and you will later have your bill credited for the energy you used. The credit is calculated as half of your electricity unit rate (excluding VAT) and will show as ‘Power Saver Credit’ on your bill. Your daily standing charge will be paid at your normal rate. See Terms and Conditions.

[2] You need to be a ScottishPower smart meter customer and have a communicating smart meter.

[3] The savings value presented is based on a 5% reduction in gas and electricity use for a customer on a tariff covered by Ofgem’s energy price cap, who pays by Direct Debit, with Ofgem’s average annual energy usage for a typical household in Britain (2,700kWh single rate electricity & 11,500kWh gas use) prior to using the Energy Insights tool. We refer to a 5% reduction in energy use as this represents the average energy savings made by a sample of customers who had a smart meter installed and provided consent to sharing half-hourly smart meter data and used the Energy Insights tool at least 3 times between May to July 2021 and May to July 2022.
